Did Micheal Jackson Forseshadow Own Death?

Did Michael Jackson foreshadow his own tragic death? Lyrics form MJ’s 1997 song tittled Morphine from the album Blood on the Dance Floor allows us a glimpse into his innermost demons and personal turmoil..

In this erie, almost haunting song that starts with the words (He got flat baby, Kick in the back baby, A heart attack baby) Jackson seems to predict his untimely death by cardiac related complications. The melody is set to a violent cadence and is accompanied by plenty of swearing and disturbing declarations about hating his race, friction with his dad, and even more shocking, about the fact that he was taking Morphine and Demerol.

“Morphine”

The chorus, which  Jackson chants in a shaky, regretful voice, “demerol oh god he is taking Demerol” changes in to a more sorrowful melody that seems to portray Jackson’s remorse about his addiction to these dangerous substances and reflects the anticipatory grief  about what he knew would someday be his demise.

Perhaps, this song was written by Michael as an unsuccessful, last attempt to get help.

Shyne May Be Released Today

Posted on 06 Oct 2009 at 9:41am

There is much speculation and not enough hard cold facts but Shyne (Rapper) who was part of the infamous Night Club shooting  that nearly put P.Diddy behind bars is supposed to be released today October 6, 2009 from prison.

On  December 27, 1999 Shyne, along with Combs and his girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, allegedly was involved in a high-profile incident at a Manhattan club which left three people injured and the 21-year-old rapper, whose debut album was pending release, facing charges of attempted murder, assault, and reckless endangerment.

He was later concvicted on June 01, 2001 and was sentenced to  10 years in prison. While in prison he dropped his album Godfather Buried Alive in 2004 on Def Jam.  This is a great day for Hip-Hop because a fallen soldier is coming home.

What happens now that Shyne will be home?

Posted on 06 Oct 2009 at 9:11am

After Beyonce‘s unforgettable kind gesture towards Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards where the infamous Kanye West scandal took place it becomes even harder to deny that Beyonce Knowles is the epitome of  a kind-hearted woman. Behind all the glitz and glamour she is genuinely a great person, and that’s what draws so many to love her as an artist. That is why it was  only right for Billboard to crown this amazing artist Billboard’s Woman of The Year.
