Alright so there’s already been a slew of male NJ MC’s posted on this site, so its only right that the first Female MC is a NJ native.
J.Philippe is a premier MC that has come to leave an imprint in hip-hop. Her music reflects her past, present, and aspirations for the future. She stays away from materialistic content and sticks to the emotions and realistics events.
What makes her different from many other MCs has to be in my opinion her flow it hasn’t really been heard in hip-hop before.

A New Jersey native, is taking his hip hop career to new heights with the release of his 1st mixtape hosted by New Jersey’s Biggest DJ entitled: Heavy Hitter DJ Wallah Presents: Freaky Jon P “The Introduction” Mixtape. Freaky Jon P is aptly using the college circuit as his platform into the music industry. In 2009 alone, he and his dedicated team and have shot music videos on several campuses in New Jersey. His lyrical content is compared to that of Lupe Fiasco but it is his delivery that leaves an impact on the listener. His new single Flight School” has people wanting more from this budding artist.
The release of this Mixtape will surely open doors for collaborations with big artists on future projects.
Damn, did we all see this coming? Is it attributed to the Bad Boy curse. Nothing good from Bad Boy Records stays at Bad Boy Records. Day 26 will be announcing their departure from their label soon. It must be an amicable break up because there wasn’t any Diddy bashing on radio, or any tirades.
Maybe Diddy is trying to start off his venture with Interscope on clean slate?
Either way Diddy you just LOST ONE…
Wait does this mean no more Making the Band, and it was just getting really good. Well guess it’s on to the next.
“How many niggas give up this game and get it again?” -Mase
Mase made a stop over at Shade 45 to chop up it with DJ Drama and got straight to business no questions asked. Drama threw the beat on and Mase but his lyrics to the test. This man sounds like he’s been holding some of these bars for a especially the line about him and Diddy in Spain.. Either way this guy is due some credit, he murdered those tracks even though it was pre-meditated..lol
This Jersey City crew The Heat has been on its grind for the last 11 years, and the label Conglomerot Records has been popping since 2001. Their latest album The French Connectinon is set to put the streets on fire.
Look out for this group they hot dont sleep on them…
The French Connection Coming Soon!!! Check Back for More…
Want an Iphone but hate At&t. Well you might just get lucky. Reports are saying that At&t Iphone contract is reportedly scheduled to end June 2010, and the Iphone could be available to mutiple carriers.
AT&T holds the exclusive contract for selling the iPhone in the U.S. until 2010, and some industry observers have speculated that Apple would strike a deal with Verizon Wireless, the nation’s largest carrier, if Apple can get its phone compatible with Verizon’s network.
Since Verizon’s current network doesn’t support the iPhone, Apple would either need to wait until Verizon completes its transition to 4G, by way of its Long-Term Evolution (LTE) technology — a process that could take several years — or it could redesign the iPhone to work on Verizon Wireless’ existing infrastructure.
